A meeting of the Organization of Turkic States on information and communication technologies was held in Bishkek
Yesterday, December 7, the Fifth Meeting of Heads of Information and Communication Technologies of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held in Bishkek, which was attended by ministers and high-level representatives of member States and observers.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Minister of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic Nuria Kutnayeva, attended by Ambassador Kubanichbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the OTS, as well as other officials of the countries Observers of the OTS.
In their statements, the heads of delegations expressed their desire to continue efforts to implement the necessary measures to develop and strengthen ICT cooperation within the framework of the OTS by implementing the mechanisms for the implementation of the main initiatives of the agenda of the meeting.
At the meeting presentations were also made about the e-government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the activities of the newly created «Innovative Center of the Silk Road».
Following the meeting, the heads of delegations signed the Joint Declaration of the 5th Meeting of Heads of Information and Communication Technologies.
