Public Digital Services ServiceOn March 10, 2021, the E-Government Projects Management Center and the UK Government Digital Services (GDS) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of digital government.Government Digital Services (GDS), formed in 2011, is part of the Executive Office of the UK Cabinet of Ministers and deals with the digital transformation of public services. Drawing on the experience of the UK, GDS provides peer-to-peer expertise and support for effective government digital transformation.The focus of attention of both parties will be strengthening the foundations of digital development in the country, developing digital potential, introducing user-oriented e-services, and creating sustainable and flexible methods of providing public services.As part of the Memorandum, the British side expressed its readiness to support the provision of better digital public services that will be fully accessible, simple and convenient to use, as well as the development of digital skills and capabilities.In the period May-June 2021, a number of online meetings were held between specialists from the e-Government Project Management Center and GDS experts, during which the British side introduced the experience of digital transformation and technological development of the UK digital government.For reference: in the e-government ranking published by the UN in 2020, the UK ranks 7th in the world.

E-Government Development CenterAt the invitation of the Azerbaijani side, within the framework of the Turkic Council, on April 15-16, 2021, specialists from the E-Government Projects Management Center took part in a study tour to the Republic of Azerbaijan to get acquainted with the country's experience in the development of e-government and public services.During the trip, meetings were held with the leadership of the Agency for Public Services and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Center for the Development of the Electronic Government of Azerbaijan. It is planned that the payment of taxes on land, property, transport, bills for cable TV, etc. will also be included in a single receipt. The parties also expressed interest in interaction and transfer of the experience of the Kazakh side to improve the country's rating for the development of electronic government. In the 2020 UN e-Government rating, Kazakhstan took 29th place in the world (1st place in the CIS), having moved up 10 positions. Following the meeting, in order to expand cooperation and exchange experience in the development of e-government and digital transformation of public services, a Memorandum was signed between the Center for e-Government Project Management under the Ministry of Information Technologies and the Zerda Holding. Within the framework of the Memorandum, the parties agreed on partnership, exchange of experience and elaboration of the implementation of promising projects in the field of digitalization, including the development of e-government infrastructure, the national portal of public services and its mobile application, reengineering of business processes of e-government services, advanced training of IT specialists and etc.
